CLRP User Subscriber Agreement

You must provide accurate registration information, including your legal first and last name, date of birth, and a valid email address.

Your legal name is collected for identity and account-administration purposes only and is never displayed publicly on the Service. Other members and visitors will only ever see your chosen username.

There is no fixed minimum age to register an Account; however, you are expected to engage with the Service and the broader community with a level of maturity consistent with our Community Rules, regardless of age.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account.

Upon successful registration, you will be issued a unique Account ID. You should retain this ID, as our staff team may request it to verify your identity in support inquiries.

We require email verification during registration and may offer additional sign-in methods (such as magic link authentication) from time to time.

You may review and revoke active sessions associated with your Account through your Account Settings.

You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your Account.

We will send you security-related notifications (such as confirmation of password or email changes) which cannot be disabled, as they exist to protect your Account.

The Service allows you to submit Applications to join in-character Departments. Submitting an Application does not guarantee acceptance.

Application Content is reviewed by authorized Department staff, who may accept or deny your Application at their discretion, consistent with our published Community Rules and Department requirements.

We may retain records of your Applications, including their outcome and the identity of the reviewing staff member, for administrative and record-keeping purposes.

The Service may also offer real-world, out-of-character Career opportunities (e.g. development, design, content, or community management roles) through a separate Application process. These are distinct from in-character Department Applications and involve different eligibility and review criteria.

The Service includes a leveling system through which your Account may earn experience points (“XP”) through ordinary use of the Service, such as logging in, viewing content, and reaching certain account milestones.

XP and Account level are cosmetic in nature. As of the date of this Agreement, leveling unlocks cosmetic features only (such as username flair) and does not confer any functional advantage, priority treatment, or special access within the Service or the County Life Roleplay server.

We reserve the right to modify the XP system, including the rate at which XP is earned, the level curve, and any associated cosmetic rewards, at any time.

We reserve the right to adjust or remove XP awarded as a result of a detected exploit, abuse, or violation of this Agreement or our Community Rules.

You may change your username through Account Settings, subject to a limit of three (3) free changes within any rolling six (6) month period.

Additional username changes beyond this limit may be made available for a fee (currently anticipated at $1.99 USD per change). This paid functionality is not yet active as of the date of this Agreement; this section is included to describe how the feature is intended to operate once available, and will be updated to reflect actual payment terms, processing, and refund policies once implemented.

We reserve the right to reject a requested username that is offensive, impersonates another individual or entity, or otherwise violates our Community Rules.

In using the Service, you agree to comply with our published Community Rules, which are incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

You agree not to: (a) impersonate any person or entity; (b) submit false information in any Application; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, including other Accounts or Department-restricted areas; (d) use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others; or (e) interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

Violations of this Agreement or our Community Rules may result in disciplinary action up to and including suspension or termination of your Account, consistent with our published Three Strike Policy where applicable.

You retain ownership of Content you submit through the Service. By submitting Content (including Application answers), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and process that Content for the purpose of operating the Service, including application review and administrative record-keeping.

You represent that any Content you submit is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.

The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts, such as Discord, to your Account. Additional connection options (including Steam) may become available in the future.

We are also developing “CLRP Connect,” a planned identity and connection service powered by Vexoris Development. CLRP Connect is not yet available, and this Agreement will be updated with applicable terms once it launches.

Your use of any connected third-party service remains subject to that service's own terms and privacy practices.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any particular Application will be reviewed within a specific timeframe.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your Account at any time by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your Account for violations of this Agreement or our Community Rules, at our discretion, consistent with our published disciplinary policies.
